For whom and what is the protective housing?
The Keyfender® is a waterproof and shockproof protective cover for electronic car keys. The housing is waterproof thanks to a patented fastening technology, it floats and can be attached to the body or sports equipment in two different ways using neoprene tape and belt. The highlight is an elastic window through which the radio buttons of the key remain operable in the housing. The Keyfender® was developed and tested for two years and combines durable, lightweight material with innovative design, made in Germany.

Which car keys fit?
The waterproof protective cover fits the car keys of 90% of all vehicle makes and models:
Audi, Citroen, Fiat, SEAT, Skoda, Ford, Land Rover, Mercedes, Opel, Peugeot, Renault, VW, Chrysler, Range Rover, Dodge, Mitsubishi, Suzuki, Toyota, Nissan, BMW (not the XSeries)... and many more...

Flexibility means a lot to us. Therefore we offer for the Keyfender® another mounting option. The included belt allows you to use the Keyfender® on the arm or an item of equipment. The radio buttons of the key remain operable in the waterproof cover. Sailing, rowing, canoeing or kayaking, jogging or swimming. The Keyfender® doesn't let up.
Attention! For more dynamic sports such as surfing, windsurfing or kitesurfing, we recommend carrying the keyfender with the window facing the arm when using the belt!
Innovative safety housing
He really shouldn't have been smaller.
When designing the waterproof Keyfender®, we paid great attention to designing a housing that was as universal as possible and in which as many common car keys as possible would fit.
During the research we noticed that the keys are getting bigger, more complex and more voluminous and now we are happy that also modern VW, Mercedes or Ford keys and also big keys with fixed beard fit into them.
This keeps all keys dry, safe and operable, even under wet, sandy and other adverse conditions.
Sustainably made in Germany
For technical production reasons, the Keyfender® from recycled plastics. We do not use any plastic for packaging and produce the Keyfender in Northern Germany.
Our manufacturing and shipping partners are the Elbe workshops for people with disabilities in Hamburg.. Due to the short distances we keep the Co2 balance of our Keyfender low.
